Conde studied Plastic Arts in college and began his photographic career in 1969. In 1973 he met the great late German photographer Firtz Henle better known in the photographic world as Mr. Rolleiflex. Fritz became his mentor and inspiration. In 1976 Fritz gave Conde a Rollei for his birthday and he has been photographing with it ever since.
Conde's exhibition Giclee Prints are a combination of the finest photographic expression and the best museum quality archival papers and ink. The late Fritz Henle stated of Conde "Diego is a fine photographer, a man of great taste and sensitivity".
